Immediate opening: we are hiring a foundry worker in Osborne County, Kansas. The job is at an aluminium die-casting plant. What we are looking for: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor You will melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Pay around $4,200 per month, based on your experience. Full-time, day shift. Contact us to fix an interview.
