Bricklayer — Mills County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a bricklayer in Mills County, Texas. You will work on a scaffolded high-rise site. You should have: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding The role involves: • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
