Requirements: • Own hand tools (hammer, nail gun, slate ripper) • Knowledge of both pitched and flat roofing systems • Confident working at height on ladders and scaffolds On a typical shift you will solder and seam standing-seam metal roof sheets; install metal flashing around chimneys and skylights; hang box gutters and downpipes for rainwater; erect and dismantle roof edge protection and scaffolding; torch on bitumen membrane across flat roofs; insulate and ventilate the roof void.
