Great opportunity: we are hiring a TIG welder in Carroll County, Georgia. You will work on a structural steel site. Ideal candidate: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Able to pass a weld test on the spot The role involves back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent.
