Plant operator (dozer) — Houston County

Join our team: we are hiring a plant operator (dozer) in Houston County, Texas. You will be based on a road construction project. On a typical shift you will grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily; carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil; clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin; follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels; maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear; cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes. Requirements: • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
