Machinist — Teungo

Great opportunity: we are hiring a machinist in Teungo, Adamawa State. You will be based at a busy garment factory. You will sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension. Requirements: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. ₦9,500 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
