Pipe TIG welder wanted in Jaba

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a pipe TIG welder in Jaba, Kaduna State. The job is at a busy fabrication workshop. The role involves TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks. You should have: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
