Argon welder wanted in Franklin County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an argon welder in Franklin County, Washington. You will be based in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. Ideal candidate: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings The role involves: • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding 2+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $250 per day, based on your experience. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
