Great opportunity: we are hiring a fettler in Logo, Benue State. You will work in a non-ferrous casting shop. Day to day you will inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes. You should have: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
