Now hiring: we are hiring a waterproofing applicator in Yancey County, North Carolina. The job is at a cold storage facility. The role involves: • Work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness • Install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations • Apply liquid waterproofing to bathrooms and terraces before tiling • Prep, clean and prime substrates before membrane application • Install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape • Torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations Ideal candidate: • Physically fit, able to lift and carry boards and rolls • Own basic hand tools such as a utility knife and trowel • Sharp eye for sealing joints and avoiding thermal bridges We offer $4,100 per month plus benefits.
