Rough terrain crane operator wanted in Rockbridge County

Now hiring: we are hiring a rough terrain crane operator in Rockbridge County, Virginia. On the job you will handle: • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity Requirements: • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Able to read load charts and lifting plans $4,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
