Press shop operator wanted in Shelby County

Join our team: we are hiring a press shop operator in Shelby County, Alabama. You will be based at a white goods manufacturing plant. Ideal candidate: • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges The role involves: • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
