Powder coater — Socorro County

Now hiring: we are hiring a powder coater in Socorro County, New Mexico. The job is in a metal finishing workshop. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of pre-treatment and phosphating process • Able to operate electrostatic spray guns and curing ovens • Comfortable working in a masked, ventilated booth Your main tasks: • Top up and monitor pre-treatment chemical bath concentrations • Mask off threads, holes and machined faces with caps and tape • Apply an even powder coat with the electrostatic spray gun • Check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns • Hang components on jigs and conveyor hooks for even coverage Full-time with occasional weekends.
