Lathe programmer-operator wanted in Franklin County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Franklin County, Massachusetts. You will be based in a precision engineering workshop. You will measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers; watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes; adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish; run first-off inspection and sign off the part; write and edit G-code programs at the control; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet. Requirements: • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
