Flatlock machine operator — Santa Fe County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a flatlock machine operator in Santa Fe County, New Mexico. You will work in a sampling and tailoring workshop. Your main tasks: • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet You should have: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. $2,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
