Glazing assistant — Sumner County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a glazing assistant in Sumner County, Kansas. The job is in a shopfront glazing company. Day-to-day duties: • Install mirrors, shower screens and glass balustrades • Work safely at height on scaffolds and ladders • Handle large panes using suction cups and a lifting frame • Seal joints with a silicone gun and tool off a neat bead • Glaze shopfronts, curtain walls and glass partitions • Fit double-glazed sealed units into frames Ideal candidate: • Skilled with silicone guns, putty and glazing tools • Comfortable working at height with scaffolding and ladders Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
