Cnc setter-operator • Bastrop County, Texas

Vacancy available: we are hiring a cnc setter-operator in Bastrop County, Texas. Your main tasks: • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear Requirements: • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred Full-time with occasional weekends.
