You should have: • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor • Good attention to detail and steady hands Day to day you will carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station; monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift; measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges; follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine.
