Mechanical press operator — Zavala County

Now hiring: we are hiring a mechanical press operator in Zavala County, Texas. You will be based on the press shop floor. Your main tasks: • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean Ideal candidate: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred Part-time with flexible hours. $3,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
