Refrigeration and AC mechanic — Jasper County

Now hiring: we are hiring a refrigeration and AC mechanic in Jasper County, Iowa. You will be based on a customer's rooftop chiller plant. Your main tasks: • Fault-find control boards and defrost timers • Check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge • Measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter • Pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture Requirements: • Able to braze copper and silver-solder joints • ITI or diploma in refrigeration / RAC trade Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
