Vacancy available: we are hiring a banksman in McMullen County, Texas. You will work on a high-rise building site. On a typical shift you will carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear Meals and transport allowance provided.
