Bakery assistant — Wolverhampton

Join our team: we are hiring a bakery assistant in Wolverhampton, England. You should have: • Accurate at weighing and following recipes • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks • Food handler / hygiene certificate Your main tasks: • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel • Rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight • Score the top of loaves before baking • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer Six days a week, one day off.
