Vacancy available: we are hiring a pipe lagger in Charlton County, Georgia. The job is on flat roofs and terraces. Your main tasks: • Fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors • Lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding • Carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks • Apply liquid waterproofing to bathrooms and terraces before tiling Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and off scaffolding • Confident using a gas torch to bond bituminous membrane • Disciplined about PPE — respirator, gloves and goggles Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
