Punch press operator wanted in Hunterdon County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a punch press operator in Hunterdon County, New Jersey. You will be based in a sheet metal stamping unit. Requirements: • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes Day-to-day duties: • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
