Ideal candidate: • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine Day-to-day duties: • Rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router • Read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile • Fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents • Drill drainage and pressure-equalisation slots in the outer frame • Install finished windows and doors, pack and anchor-fix them, then foam and silicone the perimeter • Glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
