We are recruiting: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Simpson County, Kentucky. The job is in a residential tower block. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance The role involves: • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake Meals and transport allowance provided.
