Conventional mill operator wanted in Emmet County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a conventional mill operator in Emmet County, Iowa. You will be based at an automotive components factory. Day to day you will apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; keep in-process inspection records and log production counts. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron $3,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
