Join our team: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Hale County, Alabama. The job is in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. What we are looking for: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Able to pass a weld test on the spot On the job you will handle: • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut Full-time with occasional weekends.
