Stitching operator — Stafford County

Join our team: we are hiring a stitching operator in Stafford County, Virginia. You will work in a small denim manufacturing unit. Day-to-day duties: • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required You should have: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens Full-time with occasional weekends.
