Auto painter — Hidalgo County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an auto painter in Hidalgo County, New Mexico. The job is at an accident repair centre. Day to day you will mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper; apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour; sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting; bake panels in the spray booth oven to cure the paint; prime and seal bare metal to stop rust. You should have: • Able to mix paint by weight on a scale • Good eye for colour matching and blending • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
