Painter — Skagway Municipality

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a painter in Skagway Municipality, Alaska. You will be based on commercial fit-out projects. You will clean brushes, rollers and spray kit with thinners after each job; spray emulsion and enamel using HVLP and airless spray guns; measure up and work out paint and material quantities; fill cracks and nail holes with filler and caulk the gaps; lay down dust sheets and protect floors and furniture. Requirements: • Comfortable working at height on ladders and scaffolding • Sound knowledge of surface prep and the right primers • Able to read colour schedules and follow a finish spec Part-time with flexible hours.
