We are recruiting: backhoe operator (Virginia)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a backhoe operator in Clarke County, Virginia. You will work at a road and highway construction project. What we are looking for: • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat Day-to-day duties: • Strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up • Clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble • Swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger • Load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers Full-time with occasional weekends. We offer $4,900 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
