We are recruiting: CNC programmer-operator (Kansas)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a CNC programmer-operator in Bourbon County, Kansas. You will work in a toolroom. The role involves: • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance Requirements: • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
