Now hiring: we are hiring a garment presser in Johnson County, Indiana. You will work at a garment factory. What we are looking for: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine On a typical shift you will remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; give each garment a final press before packing. At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. We offer $4,700 per month plus benefits. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
