Backhoe loader operator — Whitman County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a backhoe loader operator in Whitman County, Washington. You will be based on a busy construction site. What we are looking for: • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery Your main tasks: • Excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels • Check for underground cables and services before digging • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket • Grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift Full-time, day shift.
