CNC programmer-operator — Juniata County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a CNC programmer-operator in Juniata County, Pennsylvania. You will be based at an automotive components factory. You should have: • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Able to grind and set HSS cutters Day to day you will set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery; run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production. 3+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
