TIG welder — Botetourt County

Now hiring: we are hiring a TIG welder in Botetourt County, Virginia. You will be based on a structural steel site. Your main tasks: • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination 3+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
