Join our team: we are hiring a power float operator in Rush County, Kansas. The job is on a building construction site. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet The role involves strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength; discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days; give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified; fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule. 2+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
