Now hiring: pipe lagger (Kentucky)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a pipe lagger in Adair County, Kentucky. You will be based on a construction site. Day-to-day duties: • Install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations • Install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape • Carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks • Wrap HVAC ducts with foil-faced insulation and fasten with banding • Work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness You should have: • Own basic hand tools such as a utility knife and trowel • Sharp eye for sealing joints and avoiding thermal bridges Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. We offer $4,100 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
