Crane operator — Emanuel County

Join our team: we are hiring a crane operator in Emanuel County, Georgia. You will work in a steel fabrication workshop. Your main tasks: • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control Requirements: • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
