Immediate opening: pipe lagger (England)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a pipe lagger in Bedford, England. You will be based at a busy building site. You should have: • Physically fit, able to lift and carry boards and rolls • Willing to travel between sites Your main tasks: • Prep, clean and prime substrates before membrane application • Install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape • Apply liquid waterproofing to bathrooms and terraces before tiling • Fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors • Carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks • Lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
