Press shop operator • Ottawa County, Oklahoma

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a press shop operator in Ottawa County, Oklahoma. You will work at a busy press shop. Day-to-day duties: • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts Requirements: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout Rotating shifts. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
