Scaffold fitter — Kent County

Now hiring: we are hiring a scaffold fitter in Kent County, Rhode Island. You will work at a high-rise building site. Requirements: • Reliable, punctual and able to work in a gang • Physically fit for repeated heavy lifting of tubes and boards The role involves plumb the standards and level the ledgers with a spirit level; handle, sort and stack tubes and fittings for loading out; tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner; erect tube-and-fitting and system scaffolds such as Cuplok and Kwikstage; tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
