Immediate opening: we are hiring a foundry worker in Mills County, Texas. Day-to-day duties: • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand Requirements: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal 6+ years on the tools preferred.
