Fabrication workshop technician — Dallas County

Now hiring: we are hiring a fabrication workshop technician in Dallas County, Iowa. What we are looking for: • An eye for finish — no scratches, clean welds, flush beads • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres Day-to-day duties: • Crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame • Fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents • Fit EPDM gaskets and brush-pile weather seals along the rails • Check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals • Rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router We offer $22 per hour plus benefits.
