Power float operator — Snyder County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a power float operator in Snyder County, Pennsylvania. Day to day you will discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade; cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing; fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule; load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors. Requirements: • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours 6+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. We offer $220 per day plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
