You should have: • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work Day to day you will carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; measure rope tension and check for broken strands; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork.
