Immediate opening: overlocker operator (Oklahoma)

Immediate opening: we are hiring an overlocker operator in Tillman County, Oklahoma. You will be based in a small denim manufacturing unit. What we are looking for: • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus On the job you will handle: • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension Pay around $240 per day, based on your experience.
