Join our team: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in City of Kingston upon Hull, England. The job is in a residential tower block. On the job you will handle: • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake Ideal candidate: • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways Full-time, day shift. £14 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
