Port container crane operator — Pike County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Pike County, Illinois. You should have: • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) Your main tasks: • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands Six days a week, one day off.
